Terms of Service

Last updated: April 16, 2026  ·  Effective upon first use of the application

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Music-To-Sheet ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using Music-To-Sheet, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1 What Music-To-Sheet Is

Music-To-Sheet is an AI-assisted audio transcription tool for personal, educational, and non-commercial use. The App converts audio recordings into sheet music notation using machine learning. It is not a licensing platform, a rights clearance service, or a tool for the commercial reproduction of copyrighted works.

The App is designed to help musicians transcribe their own original work, learn melodies by ear, study public domain compositions, and practice reading notation.

2 Your Responsibility for Uploaded Content

You are solely responsible for all audio you upload or submit to the App. By doing so, you represent and warrant that:

We do not claim ownership over any audio you upload. You retain all rights to your original recordings. We acquire no licence to your content beyond what is strictly necessary to perform the transcription you requested.

3 Derivative Work Notice

Sheet music generated from a copyrighted recording or composition may constitute a derivative work under applicable copyright law. Creating a derivative work without the authorisation of the copyright holder may infringe their exclusive rights under 17 U.S.C. § 106 (US) or equivalent provisions in other jurisdictions.

Music-To-Sheet does not grant you any licence to create, reproduce, or distribute derivative works of third-party copyrighted material. Obtaining any required permissions is entirely your responsibility.

4 No AI Training on Your Audio

Your audio is never used to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or improve any AI or machine learning model — ours or anyone else's. Each conversion is performed solely for you as an individual and is not shared with, or reused for, any other user. This commitment is unconditional and does not vary by subscription tier.

5 Ephemeral Audio Processing

Audio files submitted to the App are processed on a strictly temporary basis:

Generated output should be reviewed and corrected by a qualified musician before any reliance upon it. We make no warranty that output is musically accurate or complete.

14 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, interpretation, performance, breach, or termination, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction where necessary to protect its intellectual property rights or confidential information.

If you are a consumer located in a jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer protection laws provide you with additional rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights remain unaffected by this section. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15 Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or by email, and we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
